Day 1We collect every door & drawer front
We arrive in the morning, label and photograph every door, drawer front, kickboard and removable end panel so they refit perfectly. Everything heads straight to our Plympton workshop.
- Hinges, handles and locks all noted and saved
- You keep using the kitchen — sink, hob and appliances stay live
- Only the cupboards lose their doors for a few days
Days 2–3Workshop spray — the dust-controlled bit
In the workshop your doors get cleaned, sanded, primed with the right primer for the substrate (MDF, vinyl-wrap, gloss acrylic and real wood each need different prep), then sprayed with two coats of premium 2K topcoat with proper cure time between each.

Day 4Sprayed doors return — mask & in-situ spray
Sprayed doors come back to your home. We mask up your kitchen thoroughly — every worktop, appliance, socket and floor edge — then spray the cabinet carcasses, side panels, end panels and kickboards on-site with water-based paint.
- Low-VOC water-based paint indoors — safe for kids and pets
- Full masking means zero overspray on anything else
- By end of day, every surface matches the new doors
Day 5Refit, touch-ups & walkthrough
The sprayed doors and drawer fronts are fully cured. We refit every one in the exact position it came off, adjust hinges so they sit dead flush, refit handles (or drill new holes if you've upgraded), then walk the room with you.
- Tiny knocks from refit are touched up by hand
- Aftercare guide & a small touch-up paint pot left with you
- Final tidy and we’re gone — your kitchen is yours again
