2026 trending kitchen colours in Plymouth

1. Sage green

Soft, natural, calming. Pairs beautifully with brass handles and oak worktops. Good Farrow & Ball matches: French Gray, Mizzle, Vert de Terre, Lichen.

2. Anthracite grey (RAL 7016)

The most-requested colour we spray. Dark, contemporary, hides marks well. Looks particularly good handleless or with matt black handles.

3. Navy blue

Deep, confident, timeless. Hague Blue, Down Pipe, Stiffkey Blue. Pairs with white worktops, brass or chrome.

4. Matt black

Bold, modern. Best on contemporary handleless designs. Black absolutely needs the right primer and topcoat or it shows every mark β€” workshop spray is non-negotiable.

5. Two-tone (sage base + cream wall)

Dark base units, light wall units. Adds dimension without going dark everywhere. Particularly good in smaller kitchens β€” the lighter wall units keep the room feeling open.

6. Off-white & cream

Slaked Lime, Pointing, Wevet, Hardwick White. Soft, warm, classic. The opposite of "builder beige" β€” properly toned warm whites that complement oak floors.

Finishes

  • Matt β€” most popular. Hides marks, fingerprints and minor unevenness. Looks contemporary.
  • Satin / eggshell β€” slight sheen. Easier to wipe clean than matt. Most kitchens.
  • Gloss β€” high shine. Showroom look but shows every mark and dust speck. Best on small accent units.
